Preface   This website deals with phenomena and problems encountered in parts of  the (German) martial arts scene, with special focus on certain karate-associations and on certain karate clubs. The FAQ on the following page provide some information about why and how this project came into being. An overview of the different topics is given in the Sitetour. There are essays, specialised texts, analyses, comments and satire, with smooth transitions between the categories. We say in advance, that the Karate-Doctor website is not targeted against any martial art, but against grave misconduct, degenerate situations and disastrous trends, which endanger and will eventually destroy the spiritual and technical contents. Maybe this website can make aware of what might happen when the wrong seeds meet fertile soils of apple-polishing, self-delusion and indifference, to mention only a few ingredients. At least we hope, that it is of some interest to readers from abroad, if only as an entertaining view on some important budo issues.  © KD
